Head of Mobile App Product Management
The Head of Mobile App Product Management will be responsible for crafting and executing the vision for how Levi’s customers shop through our mobile app channels. You will drive product strategy and partner with multiple groups across the organization to innovate and inspire changes to the mobile app shopping experience. You will play a leading role in shaping the way in which people interact with Levi’s. You will help shape product strategy while driving engineering and features based on this vision. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, with real autonomy and accountability for delivering business results. They will have a strong product background, a well-rounded understanding of current mobile technologies, and a passion for tackling meaningful problems in apparel retail.
Set the vision, objectives, and OKRs for the Levi’s Mobile App
Find opportunities to improve the dual track agile process (required resources, team reassignment, different global team structures, new tools, different product, design, or engineering methods) and focus on providing solutions and delivering results.
Collaborate with Business, User Experience Design, User Research, Engineering, Content, Marketing, and Data Science teams to create best-in-class solutions for customers, User Research
Actively monitor key business metrics and adjust team priorities as appropriate to deliver on financial and customer adoption goals
Ensure direct contact with partners and customers across global geographies (Asia, Americas, Europe, Middle East) and segments to encourage customer empathy
Engage and cultivate relationships with Consumers to deeply understand their needs
Build market and competitor awareness among the team - Analyze consumer feedback and usage metrics to identify key pain points.
Partner with an empowered UX Design and User Research team to develop innovative concepts…collaborative discovery/design
Manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.
Roll up sleeves as necessary to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet our high standards of quality.
The position collaborates with other global locations and requires a flexible work shift schedule for some meetings.
Leverage online controlled experiments and quantitative and qualitative user insights to make data-informed decisions.
Coach and mentor team
12+ years of consumer facing product management or relevant experience
Experience working on Android, iOS, and React Native
Bachelor’s degree and MBA preferred, management consulting experience a plus.
Experience influencing product direction and others around you.
Experience with personalization, recommendations, and A/B testing
Manage chaos, ambiguity and complexity in a detailed, organized way
Expert product instincts and an ability to balance user and business impact
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Bachelor’s degree or higher with a technical discipline
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
Strong analytical and quantitative skills while the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
Clear, concise, and thorough written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
