The ideal candidate shows equal passion and knowledge of apparel design (with both tie-dye & print experience), as well as Adobe Illustrator tech packs. We operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and this role is crucial to the ongoing success of the business. This individual needs to be creative, detail-oriented, organized, resourceful, and vocal about ideas to improve processes within the design department as well as cross-functionally between teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create professional CADs/mockups of final product concepts utilizing client assets for approval prior to sampling and production
  • Create and maintain development tech packs for production, combining approved CADs/mocks with detailed callouts and specs in addition to inspiration images for vendors to reference, to ensure all style details are concise, clear, and as easily understood as possible - for both screenprints and cut & sew merchandise
  • Ensure that all digital assets are successfully delivered on schedule from initial artwork conception to final production, and in the correct formats
  • Work closely with sales and production teams to ensure highest quality execution of the client’s vision - the goal is to get a perfect sample on the first try due to tight development timelines. Mistakes or ambiguity on tech packs will hinder the whole team’s effectiveness
  • Utilize past experience and knowledge to help guide sales team with regard to production and printing capabilities and limitations


  • BA in graphic design, fashion design, or related field
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, ProCreate)
  • 6+ years of integrated design experience in the fashion industry or similar physical goods manufacturing
  • Must have an understanding of textile artwork & production processes- tie-dye, screenprint, sublimation, embroidery, etc. and their real-world limitations
  • Must be fluent in creating Illustrator tech packs for physical goods
  • Knowledge of digital artwork separations for printing is preferred
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal, project management, and presentation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
