The Role As the Junior Digital Designer, you will be working with and supporting the Digital Design Team to create an extensive range of online visuals for CharlotteTilbury.com. Working at a global level for the brand, following creative and commercial direction in designing onsite visuals, emails, and assets for retailer.com websites. You will be responsible for supporting the Digital Design Team in delivering high quality creative assets to the business in a timely manner.

The Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Support the Digital Design Team to create visually beautiful and commercial designs across website, email and app.
  • Design and create evergreen content for weekly email newsletters, following a brief from our Digital Content Team
  • Support the Digital Design Team on 360 campaign asset creation for product launches and events using our creative photography (includes but not limited to; Launch emails, navigation menus, category pages, homepage hero banners, landing page banners etc.)
  • Supporting wider creative teams with resizing our creative imagery
  • Supporting the Digital Design Team in creating creative assets for new Retailer.com websites
  • Support in the creation of Digital Marketing assets e.g. display banners and paid social creative
  • Support the team with reactive changes to existing works
  • Ensure all creatives and designs are within brand guidelines
  • Ad hoc creative tasks such as creating iconography, graphic montages and animation/gif work etc. to support larger projects.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to execute projects across both print and digital channels from concept to production.
  • Ability to interpret the business needs, developing a concept to suit their purpose
  • Able to manage the expectations of the business with clear lead times
  • Strong desire to gather information internally and externally in order to raise the profile of projects through new designs, technologies, etc.
  • Ability to think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts that fit within the Charlotte Tilbury brand
  • Ability to work nimbly as designs change during the creation and approval process
  • Use innovation and creative disruption to redefine a design brief
  • Strong comunication skills in order to share design ideas and concepts to the Digital Team in a clear and concise manner
  • Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
  • Confidence to contribute ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
  • Ability to execute multiple designs and assets under tight deadlines
  • An excellent understanding of layout and typography, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work closely within brand guidelines
  • An impressive portfolio and a passion for outstanding creative work
  • Keep up to date with current design, tech and cosmetic/beauty trends
  • Have a strong interest in fashion, cosmetics, retail and product
  • Passion for digital industry developments and enthusiasm
  • Excellent communication skills- able to work well across teams (Design, E-Commerce, Digital)
  • Have experience with a range of design packages; including Adobe Creative Suite, it would also be advantageous to have experience working in Sketch and/or Figma.
  • A creative mind who can also deliver commercially, accuracy and effectiveness
