WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Lead Footwear Product Testing Analyst to join the Global Footwear Product Testing team working in Nike KIDS.

This role ensures that Nike Footwear fits and performs up the highest standards. Our Lead Analyst will drive and implement all aspects of footwear testing; including expertly planning tests, they recruit and build relationships with target athletes*, complete all level of tests, thoughtfully analyze both quantitative and qualitative data while capturing product and athlete feedback, produce excellent written reports, deliver presentations to the product creation team and cultivate an environment in which differences are openly shared, embraced and incorporated into the team culture.

This candidate will have strong product creation acuity, proven influencing skills, formal mentoring experience, outstanding communication and organizational skills as well as takes initiative in identifying areas of opportunities and implementing solutions in conjunction with the leadership team.


WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role, you will be leading the overarching testing strategy for our Nike KIDS team. You’ll use your proven understanding of the footwear manufacturing process combined with your solid understanding of the athlete* to thoughtfully derive insights from data in order to advise and encourage the product creation team. You will provide mentorship to less experienced Analysts as well as lead others to deliver results which improve Footwear Product Testing and contribute to the overall strategy of the Nike KIDS team.


WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work directly with the extended Nike KIDS team including; Development, Design, Engineering, Product Marketing, (Sports Marketing), Material Development (Sustainability), in pursuit of product excellence. You will collaborate with your Footwear Product Testing teammates on prioritized projects to test new innovative footwear. You will also be working with youth Athletes*, empowering adults and coaches to gain a better understanding of their needs to capture their feedback of the tested models.

WHAT YOU BRING
-  Bachelor's degree or 2 years' combination of relevant education, experience, and training.

-  4 years' experience in a professional working environment. Experience in the footwear, product testing, development, marketing, engineering, retail, customer service industry is preferred.

-  Understanding of footwear components, materials, and inline productions processes is a definite plus.

-  Strong verbal, written, and proactive communication skills

-  Experience working with athletes, coaches, and equipment managers.

-  Experience with Microsoft Office programs and familiarity with spreadsheet database and statistical analysis procedures.

-  Able to physically lift and carry items weighing 20 pounds.

-  Passion for sport and experience working with youth is a plus.

-  Ability to travel up to 10% per year, domestically and internationally.
