Who we are looking for!

The Global Supply Chain Product Management team needs a strong Lead Product Manager to evolve the way we deploy/allocate inventory and fulfill consumer demand across the integrated marketplace. Working in an agile environment across a large network of geographically-diverse business collaborators, customers, product owners and NIKE Technology, you will help define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for differentiating capabilities that empower NIKE to:

  • Accelerate speed-to-market and improve NIKE’s carbon footprint through the optimization of Fulfillment logic across NIKE’s multi-node fulfillment network and Integrated Marketplace
  • Increase full-price sales through dynamic prioritization / reservation of supply for NIKE’s Direct business (NIKE.com, NIKE Retail)
  • Unlock next-gen consumer experiences such as Buy Online / Pickup In Store (BOPIS)
  • Quickly respond to changing marketplace dynamics (e.g., COVID, etc.) through inventory productivity modeling / scenario planning tools
What you will work on
  • Work closely with global collaborators, both internal and external, to understand business problems, and distill opportunities
  • Define and communicate product vision and strategy, using data to drive decisions and ensuring alignment to company strategies
  • Partner closely with product and technology teams to align and influence enterprise priorities, solution architecture and sequencing
  • Assess the business impact of different solutions and trade-offs between collaborator needs, technology requirements and costs
  • Ensure product priorities have necessary funding and support, through rigorous definition and socialization of business value and return on investment
  • Perform current-state process analyses, and lead future-state persona/process mapping to inform product requirements
  • Define epics and features and prioritize them in the product backlog on an ongoing basis
  • Determine success criteria, test and validate solutions, and continuously evaluate customer happiness
  • Analyze and communicate customer adoption, product performance, time to market, quality and other product/business metrics to collaborators
  • Partner with program and project management teams to ensure leadership and collaborators are regularly informed of progress, risks and issues
  • Be a change advocate to support new ways of working and advancing processes and capabilities.
  • Work with transition management teams to ensure impacts to users and collaborators are well communicated, understood and widely adopted
  • Foster a strong and supportive team culture
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Product Management principles and methodologies and how they’re applied in workplace culture
  • Proven ability to listen to users and collaborators and distill core business opportunities
  • Ability to assess the business impact of different solutions and make trade-offs between customer needs, technology requirements and costs
  • In-depth knowledge of the relationship between business processes and products
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to navigate, collaborate and partner with others in a highly dynamic and ambiguous environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally
  • Deep analytical skills with ability to derive insights from structured and unstructured data
  • Experience resolving issues with higher levels of management
  • Experience leading others in cross-functional work and resolving complex issues
  • Proven ability to respond to and prioritize changing demands quickly
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs
  • Experience in designing and developing innovative solutions
  • Ability to coach and directly manage others (full-time and professional services)
What you bring!
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
  • Minimum 8 years relevant work experience
  • Experience managing at least 1 or more direct reports
  • Minimum of 2 years regularly working with data/analytics products; strong preference for candidates with experience working on products/capabilities that use artificial intelligence / machine learning to optimize decision making
  • History working with Agile teams and methodologies including Scrum, LEAN, Kanban and/or SAFe
  • Proficiency working with JIRA, Confluence and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools preferred
  • Subject-matter expertise in any of the following considered a plus: Deployment Planning, Omni-channel Inventory Management, Fulfillment Operations, Logistics
  • Experience working with microservices, SAP AFS and/or SAP S/4, o9 and/or data science technologies a plus
