Manager, Digital Merchandising, Fashion and Watches and Fine Jewelry:

Chanel is looking for a passionate and forward-thinking digital expert to join the US Chanel.com Team. The Manager of Digital Merchandising will be responsible for Fashion (incl. Eyewear) and Watches & Fine Jewelry local site merchandising strategy and contribution on Chanel.com. This role will manage local site updates and identify merchandising opportunities to support business priorities on site, helping the team reach division sales goals and drive connection to boutique. This position will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Client Touchpoints, IT, Creative, and Media.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for defining and implementing local merchandising strategies and content updates for Eyewear, Watches, & Fine Jewelry that align with the different business objectives by product category
  • Primary digital merchandising contact for Global and Local Fashion, Eyewear, and Watches & Fine Jewelry teams, establishing close relationships with cross-functional teams and supporting division priorities
  • Ensure readiness of product for timely launch on the site, including completeness of product information, assets, and translations
  • Work with various internal local and global teams for digital merchandising strategy alignment regarding calendar, business objectives, and client journeys
  • Brainstorm local site content initiatives, bringing in local partners when necessary, to enrich and personalize the customer experience on site
  • Frequently perform analytics reporting to evaluate content performance, sharing out recaps and identifying opportunities
  • Submit requests to creative team for copy and assets
  • Maintain digital merchandising calendar and site content plans
  • Communicate site launches and updates to relevant departments and senior leadership team members

Position Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years experience in a digital role with 2-3 years working in content management systems and managing merchandising strategy to meet business objectives
  • Relationship oriented and highly collaborative
  • Adaptable to different environments and ways of working
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong Google Analytics knowledge and analytical skills with specific expertise in content and site behavior analysis
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable with presentations to large groups/executives
  • Possesses curiosity and creative problem-solving skills
