Job description

Create, build and execute US strategy and product assortment plan that delivers targeted business growth in the US. Focus on product, range plans and developing sales tools for commercial sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Working closely with Global apparel team and sales to define, create and execute the product vision and proposition within the US channel ensuring brand and channel goals are met for the Men's Apparel categories

- Develop, execute and manage the optimum category / product assortment to deliver against the agreed targets, including retail price strategy, forecasting, margin and phasing approach

- Accountable for briefing and delivery of commercial input to define market needs and growth opportunities.

- Drive sales and share growth ensuring all commercial and strategic goals are met by meeting Channel distribution plans and targets

- Define, create and develop sales tools, including catalog, to ensure brand and channel goals are met

- Build, execute and manage the range proposition process from virtual download to sales launch, including pre-line process and ensuring smooth account interaction process

- In conjunction with the Global product team and sales define the account product strategy and roadmap

- Understand range needs from all accounts within channels for the specific account

- Provide regular analysis of sell-in performance of all facets for Men's Apparel category

- Manage in line / SMU product merchandising, process for account base

- Be the US Merchandising point of contact both internally and externally for Men's Golf apparel. Includes pre-lines, sales meeting and external shows

- Conduct relevant reporting activities to measure the efficiency and commercial success of the range season over season

- Collaborate with US Demand Planning team and Ops functions as appropriate to plan and manage forecasting

- Understand the US consumer retail environment including distribution points, share of buy, competitor ranges and pricing strategies

- Secure visibility of category range proposition to relevant internal teams through systems management and communication process.

- Manage and execute US sample ordering and allocation

Profile

- Ability to analyze data and reach meaningful conclusions

- Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills

- Able to work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong attention to detail and well organized

- Ability to follow up to make sure tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner

- Lead and coordinate multiple projects and tasks

- Ability to work within highly collaborative team environment

- Strong eye for product

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

- Well versed in the golf market

- Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of time.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, or closely related field, highly desirable.

- At least 5 years product marketing, buying, merchandising, account sales or other relevant experience
