Description of Responsibilities:

The Visual Merchandiser position is an integral part of support that is offered to territory department stores and/or free-standing retail stores to strategize and implement the merchandising of all covered brands and to help drive shop sales insuring proper Armani visual standards.

Overview of Critical Duties:

· 50% Travel Requirements

· Travel to department store accounts and/or free-standing retail stores in the covered territories areas daily

· Visits include full merchandising and display changes

· Daily styling of mannequins, creating displays and merchandising shops

· Responsible for development of relationships with all store personnel

· Manage events and presentations

· Responsible for assessment and follow-up of shop maintenance of fixtures & physical condition of shop to Corporate Property Management department

· Photo library of shop conditions prior to and after a visit

· Create store visit reports

· Manage and execute shop opening merchandising process

· Support and examine the showroom attributes of each product on the market.

· 50% Travel Requirements

· Communication with HQ Team (Visual and Buyer Team)

· Collaborate with cross functional teams to manage and execute brand image within in-store pop-ins and off-site pop-ups.

· Support the field team during select window installations, store openings, collection events and special projects


· Computer proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)

· College Degree Preferred

· At least 5 years of experience in the field

· Excellent communications skills both written and verbal

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $75,000 - $90,000 annually, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and retirement plans with employer contributions. This position is located at our Giorgio Armani Corporate Office in NYC and offers the opportunity for a hybrid on-site schedule.
