Job Description

JOB PURPOSE-

Skechers Digital Group is looking for an experienced Product Manager focused on marketing automations to join their team. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and developers across our digital ecosystem to execute digital marketing campaigns across email, SMS, and mobile app platforms. Skechers is looking for someone who understands Marketing platforms, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and can be the liaison between business stakeholders and development to make sure business and technical requirements are executed as planned, oversee QA and UAT, and ultimately successfully rollout new features and campaigns.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-

  • Work with the digital marketing business owners to execute the strategy, vision and prioritization of products and features across our marketing technology stack. Examples could include;
    • Expanding domestic successful campaigns to scale to new international markets
    • Implementing complex multi-channel journeys (email, SMS and App push communications)
    • Building out more robust audience and segmentation capabilities
  • Oversee the intake process for new requests for marketing automation product platform. Partner with relevant business leads/stakeholders to review, prioritize and approve requests that would then back into the formal backlog
  • Own the marketing automation product roadmap that maximizes the efficiency of our digital marketing team and busines benefit to our customers by building new product capabilities and optimizing existing flows
  • Drive Roadmap prioritization and planning
  • Define epic and user story requirements, acceptance criteria for both technical and non-technical requirements, and oversee to make sure acceptance criteria has been met before and after feature launch.
  • Evaluate and recommend third party tools and make buy versus build decisions to fill platform gaps
  • This is a cross-functional role that will work closely with the business stakeholders for marketing automation, data engineering, solution architects as well as other product teams
  • Proactively work to understand the competitive landscape and industry trends to evolve marketing automation products

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS-

  • Ability to get things done and drive projects to completion
  • A business-first approach with the ability to apply technology to solve business problems and not the other way around
  • Ability to simplify and explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of business process improvement, reporting, problem-solving, troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective stakeholder communication at all levels of an organization.
  • Fundamental understanding of Agile method

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-

  • Foundational experience using agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Deep understanding of industry marketing tech including CRM platforms and marketing automation tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 in the marketing technology domain
  • 2+ years experience working with executive management stakeholders
