Merchandise Buyer/Planner
Core Responsibilities:
· Take active role in buy planning and production placements, working cross functionally to optimize timely inventory levels and driving seasonal strategies.
· Manage weekly, monthly, and seasonal business review. Own agenda, analysis, action plans and follow ups. Identify best sellers, reorders, md optimization.
· Drive Flag & Anthem E-Commerce sales and margin growth to achieve our year-over-year growth plans.
· Optimize website merchandising and focus skus into big ideas built for growth.
· Build and maintain sales promotional calendar, partnering with marketing team on strategies and promotions, to drive sales, while preserving margin and brand integrity.
· Maximize KPI’s, category conversion, AOV, UPT, SKU productivity/Shot counts for ECOM.
· Work cross functionally with planning, product development, marketing, and digital marketing teams.
· Help identify alternative sales outlets for digital sales growth within our company.
Ideal Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of work and experience.
· 3-6 years Buying/Planning Experience.
· Self-starter that takes initiative to grow in the role and with our company in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
· Track record of managing and growing a direct-to-consumer business.
· Comfortable with changing priorities, being flexible, and opportunistic.
· Working understanding of progressive E-Commerce systems and technology tools (e.g. Shopify, etc).
· Able to manage and build a team of direct reports as you grow in the role.
· Work very closely and cross functionally with Marketing, Product Development/Sourcing, Production, and Operations teams
· Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
