We’re looking for a Merchandise Financial Planner (MFP) to join our team! You will play a meaningful role in defining, crafting and setting consumer demand. You will be responsible for defining and leading multi-season revenue, receipt and inventory plans for the North America Nike Direct Marketplace Unit (MPU) to serve consumer demand while adjusting and aligning to the consumer architecture based on targets and actuals.

You are data-savvy and capable of building hypotheses & supporting analyses that drive insights. You are able to confidently develop & communicate a point of view, using data and business acumen to support it. You are an excellent collaborator who proactively builds positive relationships across the organization. Using your strong financial and commercial acuity, you show good judgment in making decisions and problem solving. Is this you?


You’ll be working with the MPU Finance and broader Merchandise Financial Planning teams, along with other cross-functional partners, to define and lead multi-season merchandise financial plans for North America Nike Direct. You will reconcile assortment plans and align to consumer architecture, as well as provide data to support forecasts & targets. Your data & analysis will advise franchise/style plans, financial forecasts and end-to-end inventory forecasts. Define location (Geo, Marketplace Unit) consumer demand, revenue, receipt and/or inventory plans. Regularly report out on and provide context for results to multiple partners across the organization.


You will work both within the Nike Demand & Supply Management function and across the broader cross-functional organization including partnering closely with Nike Direct, Assortment Planning, IBP, Location Planning, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, Supply Chain, Site Operations and others to deliver top-down financial business targets both pre-season and in-season.

What you bring
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience and training.
  • 3 or more years of proven experience in business, retail, planning, sales, ecommerce or a related field.
  • Strong ability to influence and work constructively with others by communicating effectively. Listens actively and contributes to advance the conversation.
  • Outstanding written/verbal communication, analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience performing complex analysis using multiple data sources.
  • Commercial and entrepreneurial approach.
  • Curiosity about new ways of planning and how to drive growth in ecommerce retail.
