How you will make an impact:
The Category Merchant role will work closely with the Director of Vendor Relations and Category Management to implement a strategic long-term plan for their category for each location. They will be responsible for selection, oversight, and ongoing performance review of category planograms by branch. Collaborate with multiple teams across the organization to ensure the category is meeting established metrics and goals.
What you will need to be successful:
- Five years’ experience in product category management activities
- Strong knowledge of category management, marketing, and sales principles
- Experience in store merchandising and layout initiatives
- Familiar with consumer shopping habits and leading market trends
- Analytically driven and comfortable using data to inform decisions
