Luxury Fashion Brand based in NYC is looking for a Merchandise Planner to join their team. In this role you will be analyzing and forecasting our brand through strategic merchandise planning, controlled inventory management, and actionable reporting and insights, etc.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with merchants to build seasonal strategy for all channels of business
  • Prepare qualitative and quantitative hindsighting
  • Identify product and delivery flow risks and cross-division opportunities
  • Create high level reports and presentations for Merchandising team’s quarterly business reviews as well as senior management meetings
  • Support SKU reporting by analyzing SKU productivity needs of all brands on a weekly basis
  • Solicit and perform ad-hoc analysis when needed
  • Analyze the business on an on-going basis to understand core drivers; identify opportunities and risks and partner with Senior Directors of Merchandising to respond appropriately
  • Track the development ratio seasonally to drive efficiency across channels
  • Work with merchants at key milestones to ensure merchandise assortments needs are being built to achieve budget
  • Lead process and manage aggregation of data across channels for initial projections and pre-market margin roll
  • Bring visibility to the aggregation of regional plans with a global corporate lens to support End to End projects
  • Ensure accurate and timely calendar management for each season

What you’ll need:

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in a retail or wholesale environment, including time as a Planner, Buyer, or Wholesale Analyst
  • Highly proficient in Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of ACS, 7th On-Line and Tillerman preferred
  • Strong Analytical/Math Skills
