We are looking for a Merchandise Planner to help grow our retail stores. You will manage a balanced inventory assortment at the store level to achieve sales, margin, and turnover targets following localized demand. You will work with retail, supply, inventory, operations, and marketing teams to improve our needs and achieve company targets. You will also contribute to process enhancements and implementations within the commercial and retail teams.


  • You will support in the creation, management and execution of all allocation and replenishment strategies and inventory plans at the product/category/item level that support the financial goals and product strategies of the organization
  • You will develop pre-season budgets and provide in-season forecasting support for sales, margin and turnover metrics at the store level.
  • You will manage inventory through allocations of initial purchase orders and management of replenishment transfers to achieve targets
  • You will maintain and automate a set of processes and reports to identify opportunities, reduce liabilities, and provide overall support for our needs
  • You will partner with Supply, Retail, and Marketing teams to provide up-to-date information on new releases, promotional activities, and other merchandise plans to align with our business goals
  • You will analyze product, size, color and store-specific performance, communicate inventory needs to the supply and consignment teams
  • You will ensure that inventory in stock and productivity goals are achieved


  • You have 3 or more years of experience in merchandise planning in a retail/fashion environment
  • You have experience with inventory management, allocation and replenishment
  • You have advanced knowledge of Excel
  • You are comfortable working in ambiguity, and creating new processes and workflows
  • You have experience influencing partners and aligning multiple teams
  • You have strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • You have experience working collaborative with different departments
  • You have location planning experience, not essential but beneficial
