The Merchandiser’s primary purpose is to manage assortment building and item level forecasting for the North America Market ensuring the consumer needs are met from an assortment architecture, pricing, trend and balance standpoint. Driver of product selling analysis, insights, research and reporting. Partner with cross functional teams to make certain there is excellent execution across all touch points of the go to market strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assortment Planning by Style, collection and product category, as well as other needed segments of product hierarchy
  • Bottoms-Up Style level forecasting by month and quarter
  • Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly business reporting and analysis
  • Hindsight product performance and communicate key cluster needs for product development
  • Partner with Merchandise Planning to jointly own the Open to Buy process and ensure merchandise and demand forecast aligns with lower level product forecast
  • Prepare assortment summaries and business analysis for Global Buy Review presentations with Leadership
  • Partner with Global Assortment Planning, Merchandising, Planning and Supply Planning to safeguard all product needs and ensure North America Cluster financial goals are achieved
  • Prepare and support Power Point presentations
  • Ad Hoc Reporting and analysis as needed

Something About You:

  • Master’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, Supply Planning
  • 3-5+ years merchandising, planning, allocation or demand planning experience
  • In Store, commercial experience is a plus (Store Leader)
  • Best in class organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Power Point
  • BI database reporting skills are highly advantageous
  • Passionate about product and industry trends
  • Strong communicator and powerful point of view
  • Team player with good partnership and influencing skills
  • Analytical whiz and strong merchant eye
  • Successful navigating in details as well as higher level
