Women's established contemporary fashion company looking for a Women's Apparel Merchandiser to join a collaborative company with aggressive goals. It is an exciting time to be apart of the FEW MODA team, we are quickly growing and looking for a new member to join with potential growth within the current structure. This position requires a candidate who is proactive, accountable, professional, charismatic, strategic, and entrepreneurial.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Responsible for development a holistic merchandising plan in relation to the lifecycle of product.
  • Partner with our China product development team to create an offering of on trend and essential products based on an assortment plan
  • Develop and deliver category multi-platform short- and long-range vision that meet or exceed the company’s financial goals.
  • Analyze market conditions and industry trends to drive decisions related to product
  • Develop and grow category plans that will deliver sales, productivity, adjusted gross margin, and inventory plans. Identify areas of growth while managing areas of risk.
  • Seek and analyze trends and data from a variety of sources to support decisions and align others with the overall category strategy.
  • Drive innovation: cultivate an entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing new, innovative ideas that will deliver results. Accelerate product discovery. Lean into emerging categories and product adjacencies.
  • Work with cross functional partners in the development and execution of category strategies and react to short term business results.
  • Drive a compelling item business with strategies of identifying, developing and building brand growth.
  • Build strong internal relationships with cross-functional partners at various levels to drive business results and impact change.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent merchandising buying leadership experience.
  • 4-5 years’ experience preferred within Fashion, Accessories, Footwear and Jewelry or relevant buying category preferred.
  • Talent-focused leader who has demonstrated experience to engage team members in a coaching-rich environment and values talent management and succession planning to ensure talent success.
  • Ability to quickly analyze data and draw relevant conclusions to have positive effects on business in a complex business environment.
