Who we are looking for
We’re looking for a North America Tech Ops Printer Technician for our Mid-South Logistics operations. This role supports print hardware, software, and configuration and is critical to getting products out to our customers. This critical role requires accountability, communication with operations, and the ability to learn new technology.
What you will work on
You will be the primary person to perform preventative maintenance and advanced support to various types of production printers, including print and applying devices in a large distribution center setting. This includes managing any business-impacting incidents, taking the lead on some project work, and communicating to leadership in tech and operations. Your role will include training to provide some advanced hands-on work.
Who you will work with
You will work closely with frontline, first-level triage supports people, as well as with operations personnel that will be dependent upon your skills to maintain printer uptime and quality. You will coordinate vendor efforts as needed, request other teams, and track your work in a shared work-tracking system. Ensure that downtime and impact on distribution are minimal from a production printing standpoint. Provide timely resolution to issues with the given Service Level. Implement standard procedures to provide consistent printer performance in the Logistic Center as it is paramount to consumer delivery
What you bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years of technical experience or 2 years of direct production print support experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Hands-on experience in frontline production print support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and embrace new technology
- Willingness to be flexible on work location and time
