As a North America Distribution Capability Director, you will be enabling strategic and innovative capabilities to meet Nike’s growth targets.


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
These are exciting times in Supply Chain Management as we expand to support Nike’s growth and our relentless pursuit to serve our consumers. We need leaders with vision who can understand, simplify and evolve one of the largest supply chains in the world. We’re hiring a Node Capability Director for Distribution Planning. This role sits at the heart of our North America Supply Chain team within Logistics, working to drive Distribution Planning innovation as we evolve our supply chain to service the marketplace.

We're looking for someone who thrives on inspiring change and innovation, understands how process & technology can be used to build better outcomes, and can work across multiple teams to drive alignment for the collective win.


WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will lead a team that leads & partners across Nike’s North America & Global Supply Chain teams to activate new capabilities for Distribution Planning that are flexible, scalable, and repeatable. You will envision the needed Planning capabilities of tomorrow necessary to meet our supply chain strategies and our operational requirements, develop the project & business cases and lead through execution. You will bring your expertise to lead and partner across the supply chain.

Your team’s specific responsibility is to lead with a point of view & advocate for the functional teams running the business. Understanding the flow within the DC’s and being the business lead in solutioning. Owning the logical & process design as well as functional requirements. Partners in Information & Analytics as well as Nike Technology will build the technical solutions with guidance & support from this team.


WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
We work in the Nike matrix, which means we are not limited to vertical hierarchical relationships but thrive working across our organization making connections and growing our understanding, influence, and impact. In this role, you will work closely with our North America supply chain planning, logistics, transportations, project management, & Marketplace Operations teams. You will also work closely with global teams such as inventory planning, marketplace operations, center of excellence and analytics. Across these teams we will drive an integrated plan to bring innovation to what we do, how we do it and the value it delivers to Nike and our consumers.

WHAT YOU BRING

-  Bachelor’s degree or higher in Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business or Combination of relevant education, experience and training.

-  Must have minimum of 7 years of supply chain experience.

-  DC Planning/Wave Planning experience

-  Have experience demonstrating technology and improving processes to drive better outcomes.

-  Have experience developing the logical frameworks and analytical tools to improve supply chain decisions.

-  Proven thought leadership in driving innovative solutions.

-  Demonstrated process and capability solution delivery.

-  Able to work with agility and adjust to constantly evolving environment.

-  Able to create clarity from ambiguity.

-  Robust understanding across the supply chain having had roles in at least 2-3 areas.

-  Strong communication and presentation skills.

-  Demonstrated team leadership and people development.

-  Demonstrated consistent delivery of results.

-  Able to build positive relationships and influence partners.

-  Knowledge of order fulfillment practices.

-  Experience working in a large retail environment, preferred.

-  Experience working with large Retail/CPG ERP, Planning, and Logistics systems preferably SAP.
