ROLE: MATCHESFASHION are looking for a highly commercial individual with a keen eye for detail to join our Online Visual Merchandising team. The Online Visual Merchandising Executive will be responsible for assisting with VM across the Menswear site, with a strategic and creative thinking. Sitting in the Commercial department you will report into our Senior Product Marketing Manager and liaise closely with Buying and Merchandising teams.


  • Highly commercially aware with a creative flair and knowledge of Menswear luxury fashion Designers and Brands.
  • Strategic thinking and planning.
  • Highly computer literate and analytical.
  • Experience in Excel.
  • Experience in E-Commerce Platforms (preferably in Hybris) is a plus.
  • Experience in Analytics software such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Highly organised.
  • Ability to identify problems, demonstrate use of initiative and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Be able to carry out your role to the highest standards in a fast pace environment.
  • Graduate (or equivalent) with proven experience.

  • Execute the online visual merchandising across the site including areas such as Just In this Month, category pages, designer pages and curated trend edits.
  • Ensure balance factors for the VM algorithms are set correctly based on the page and region it is running in.
  • Work with the Fashion Marketing team on the trend edits and the visibility of these pages on desktop, mobile web, and the app.
  • Pull reports to analyse the performance of pages and define key actions to improve on it.
  • Research and Analysis on different shopping behaviours in different regions to make informed VM decisions when geo-targeting pages.
  • A/B test different VM strategies and share key findings to define better strategies that can help conversion and customer experience.
  • Daily QA of Just In, Categories, Designer pages and custom listings.
  • Regular audits to the site to ensure a good customer journey, reporting any bugs and suggesting improvements.
