Junior Package Designer:

CreativeKids is an international toy company known for its innovative arts and crafts and educational products. CreativeKids is looking to hire a Package Designer to join the Graphic Design team based in our Chestnut Ridge New York Office!

Requirements:

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Suite

Experience in designing for tradeshows or in-store merchandising

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience

Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communications skills (client facing and Internal)

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment

Ability to communicate concepts and ideas verbally as well as through sketches and digital mockups.

Efficient, flexible and able to easily adapt to changing priorities in this fast-paced environment.

Creative thinker with the design skills to express ideas

Passion and ability for expressing the CreativeKids “brand message” to our consumer and retail partners in an exciting visual way

Responsibilities:

Demonstrates a natural ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to achieving targeted outcomes.

Design for a variety of consumer and retail customer-facing projects including, new and existing product lines

Projects include visual merchandising, event design, marketing initiatives, sales kits, websites and sales presentations.

Ensure that design consistency and brand standards are met

Stay current with market demands, designs and consumer trends in the Toy Industry

Collaborate with product designers and illustrators to create brand assets as needed.
