Job descriptionWe are looking for a passionate, social and driven individual to join our London team and oversee our community events and experiences. This role is full-time and based in London - ideal for someone currently in events but looking for more of a challenge and varied day-day. The role is an exciting one, varied across events, experiences, in-store and online happenings, digital activations and live shopping sessions - not only will you manage and run our virtual and in-store event series being customer facing but you'll also manage our designer facing monthly schedule of webinars and networking events dedicated to help our brands grow.
Our concept store pops up for 2 weeks every month in London in different locations, each time with a different curation of brands, events and experiences. We also host digital pop-ups and events across our site and others - engaging our community through our events series is a vital part of Lone Design Club!
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the team and manage these events and experiences. You will be part of the entire process, from ideas and brainstorming of what events will fit our various concepts, what will excite and engage our customers, through to partner and sponsorship outreach. You will be part of the events marketing through to execution, with a heavy focus on attention to detail, exceptional organisation and delivering the absolute best possible and unique customer experience! Strong communication skills and a digitally savvy eye are key. Copywriting experience would also be very beneficial.
You will be working with a small team that wear many hats in a fast paced and growing environment. Alongside events there will be times when you are in the store, working with the brands, assisting the digital team, and pop-up set up activation days alongside our VM team.
The role focuses on giving the absolute best in customer experience, friendly and helpful, communicating the LDC story, the brands’ stories, sharing our purpose and mission proudly! All customers that come through our doors are entering our family, need to be welcomed and looked after in the best possible way.
- Experience in Luxury or Premium goods preferred
- Attention to detail and passion for perfection
- Exceptional organisation skills
- Copywriting background preferred
- A deep love for storytelling and presenting
- A social, people-person who enjoys meeting and interacting with everyone is a must.
- Confidence in public speaking and managing both intimate and fast paced, highly attended events.
- Quick decision making and the ability to deal with multiple clients at once.
