OPEN is currently seeking a experienced creative Pattern Makers. The successful candidate will work with the account managers to satisfy customers’ projects. In this role, an individual will interpret designs and patterns, and who can use their knowledge of construction techniques and applied mathematics to build original models. The ideal candidate will also be able to understand different concepts and ideas and apply them to a variety of situations. A successful candidate will have the ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Pattern maker to contribute to the future development of the brand who have passion, creativity, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

The ideal candidate for this position is an organized and deadline-driven professional. The position is one with room for growth and full-time work.


  • Convert a visual representation of a product into a needlepoint format.
  • Perform quality control techniques to determine whether the needlepoint successfully mimics the original image.
  • Creating complete patterns for collection and custom samples, included but not limited to draping, patterning, fitting, editing, and final patterns for production.
  • Attending fit sessions to review details and fit, noting fit changes, and adapting the patterns.
  • Create cutting tickets with full package details - including, but not limited to sewing instructions, notes, and technique details.
  • Develop complete patterns for samples to be created on a production level.
  • Sewing complete photoshoot and production samples
  • Keep track of the availability of different products and order replacements as necessary.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as entering data into spreadsheets.
  • Be able to follow instructions from project managers and supervisors.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time.

Physical demands:

  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, handles, or controls.
  • Standing: Remain upright on feet for sustained periods of time.
  • Sitting: prolonged periods.
  • Speaking/Hearing: Ability to communicate information.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, ability to move/carry product.
  • Visual acuity required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
