We are seeking an experienced Patternmaker to support our product design team with their technical ability to create quality patterns from first through production. You will play an integral role in ensuring product integrity to meet customer expectations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment devoted to turning out high-quality products. We are looking for an individual who is not afraid to think beyond their scope and collaborate with the team to create an elevated brand aesthetic. Our office is based in California in the San Fernando Valley.


• Produce patterns from proto thru production based on seasonal style requirements.

• Utilize creative ability and technical knowledge to interpret the designer’s vision.

• Meet development and production deadlines.

• Lead fittings, suggest improvements or troubleshoot any issues.

• Create standards for construction, and block pattern library.

• Grade patterns to maintain integrity of fit and design features.

• Manage samples and maintain sample room organization.

• Inspect finished samples to ensure pattern accuracy and communicate any necessary changes.

• Collaborate with product development and tech design teams to solve any production issues.

• Prioritize workload based on design and calendar dates.

• Participate in collaborative meetings.

• Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.


• High degree of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork.

• Demonstrates elevated level of work with a trained eye for proportion and balance.

• Strong knowledge in garment construction, textiles, pattern making and draping.

• Strong knowledge of fabric properties and impact in pattern development.

• Strong organizational/time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.

• Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills while maintaining accurate/on-time results

• Must be able to develop and drive improvement initiatives independently.

• Champions the organization and advocates solutions in the overall company’s best interest.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

• Must have the ability to manage through change.

• Strong interpersonal collaboration skills to work with international cultures.

• Process driven and time/action calendar focused.


• Degree in patternmaking-related discipline or combination of relevant education and 7-10 years pattern making experience.

• Proficient in computer patternmaking systems.

• Proficient in MS Office suite and Adobe Creative suite

• Advanced pattern and fit skills both on fit model and on form.
