The pattern works as an integral and collective part of the Daylight Factory production team to complete a variety of projects for clients. The patternmaker should have the ability to transfer design aspects for fashion accessories such as bags, wallets and belts, from paper to digital form, ability to take client’s edits and transfer to design while still using best practices, and work collectively and independently to complete various projects on a deadline. In addition, the pattern maker should be able to work with a variety of textiles, have knowledge of fashion accessories hardware and trends, and the ability to assemble samples for a wide range of clients.
