The Planning and Analytics Manager at NALC will be responsible for providing support and solutions to drive key business initiatives and meet key DC metrics. The position will manage a team of business planners responsible for creating tools and models for forecasting, tracking and planning the business as well as acting as a liaison between the DC and the NA supply chain team (Marketplace Operations, Digital, Integrated Business Planning, Goods Flow Planning, Inventory Planning and Delivery teams).


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-  Lead strategic business planning functions, supporting inbound and outbound product flow to achieve financial targets

-  Drive the development and creation of visual analytics to drive action and results to meet key DC metrics.

-  Collaborate with operational, business and planning partners to understand business requirements.

-  Establish plan to collect data and create dashboards that drive actionable decision making

-  Drive innovation and process improvement within the planning organization

-  Support Launch, Sports Marketing and Marketplace Operations at WHQ to meet key initiatives

-  Support Digital and Nike Direct Teams to drive efficient direct to consumer experience

-  Partner with Integrated Business Planning and Goods Flow Planning teams to optimize flow of Inbound/Outbound shipments to meet monthly/quarterly goals

-  Handle capacity through establishing and maintaining slotting strategies as well as leading all aspects of offsite inventory

-  Foster collaboration, strategic alignment, and key deliverables with partners across operations and functional business partners

-  Facilitate discussions on complex topics to drive clarity and understanding among a diverse set of stakeholders.

-  Ability to tell the story of operational performance through analysis, reporting, and analytics


QUALIFICATIONS:
-  Bachelor/Master’s degree or equivilant combination of education and experience

- Minimum of five years relevant work experience

-  Knowledge of supply chain and distribution center practices

-  Strong background in business intelligence and analytics with preferred experience in Tableau, SQL, Cognos, SAP and Manhattan WMoS

-  Strong project management skills, including project risk management

-  Demonstrated ability to lead and influence technical teams.

-  Strong problem solving skills (critical, strategic and evaluative thinking)

-  Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

-  Previous experience managing and developing a team

-  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and anticipate the needs of a changing landscape!
