We’re looking for a Planning Manager, Team & Licensed to join our NA NDDC team!
In this position, you'll play a meaningful role in directly serving our Sport consumer and delivering on our Consumer Direct Acceleration strategy. You will achieve this by ensuring both our Stores and our Digital fulfillment channels have the right product, at the right time, and in the right amounts, while delivering against retail sales, margin, and inventory plans. You will manage a team of Assortment and Allocation Planners, responsible for pre-season product depth through in-season execution to serve consumer demand!

If this is you, your key responsibilities will include forecasting our Team/Field and Licensed Sport businesses, driving alignment with leadership teams on risks and opportunities to our top down financial forecasts, managing the monthly forecast process and communicating variances on a highly seasonal business to a wide range of audiences. You’ll bring a continual improvement mindset to our planning processes within Nike Direct, our Team and Licensed cross-functional partners, and with Consumer Planning counterparts.WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You’ll report to a Sr. Director, North America Nike Direct Digital Commerce Planning. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in the Merchandise Financial Planning, Merchandising, Site Merchandising, Site & Store Ops, and other Planning teams in the Geography
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor/Master degree in Merchandising, Business or related field or relevant combination of education and experience
- 6-8 years' retail experience in merchandise planning, merchandising, sales planning, demand planning or allocations
- Experience in developing an understanding of customers, competitors and retail trends; knowledge of Team Sport and Licensed categories preferred
- Experience working across multiple business platforms, including owned retail, digital, and wholesale
- Strong and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence others; ability to effectively communicate sophisticated and/or sensitive topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
- Comprehensive understanding of retail math; ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that inform and positively impact the business
- Experience with merchandise and forecasting management systems, and advanced understanding of Excel capabilities
- Ability to develop strong working relationships in a highly matrixed environment
