The Commercial Analytics team within Nike provides predictive and prescriptive analytic based solutions that allow the company to ensure consumers have access to the products they want when and where they want them. As a Principal Product Director within the Consumer Analytics organization, you will play a lead role on a team of multi-functional partners and analytics professionals to predict consumer demand globally. You will identify and scope new opportunities and execute high-impact projects to enable Nike’s mission to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete* in the world.

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a technical background who has experience with complex analytical products. Candidates should enjoy crafting and selling a vision, gathering requirements from customers, and working with the technical teams to break down and prioritize work to deliver solutions in an incremental and iterative fashion. You will provide forecasting and optimization solutions that enable Nike to efficiently manage and sell inventory directly to our consumers. The scope of impact for your team will be broad. You will work closely with supply chain experts informing key decisions such as product pricing, allocation, and fulfillment. You will also function as a strategic partner to multiple functional areas including marketing, purchasing, and finance.
As a Principal Product Director you will be a leader driving the strategy, roadmap, and prioritization within a squad of Data Scientist, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts. You will gather requirements from internal partners within Nike to define and prioritize stories that allow us to build world-class analytic based solutions. You will monitor and understand the competitive landscape to ensure our products are sustainable and enable Nike to better serve our consumers in an ever changing environment.WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will lead a squad of data scientists, data engineers and analysts within the Commercial Analytics organization to produce forecasting and optimization solutions that enable Nike to more efficiently and accurately manage the end-to-end lifecyle of products. As the Principal Product Director, you will be responsible to set the vision and roadmap for a portfolio of products critical to Nike’s success as it accelerates its ability to provide customers with the right products when and where they want them globally.
This is a highly visible position and will require you to collaborate with teams across the company including leadership in Product Management, Technology, UX, and Nike’s direct to consumer business (e-commerce and physical stores).WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or an equivalent field. MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
- 8+ years of professional product management experience in a technical environment.
- Experience developing and driving product vision and go-to-market strategy.
- Experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle for enterprise products including establishing a product vision, go-to-market plan, product delivery, performance monitoring, and expansion.
- Demonstrated experience managing an Analytics-based product, with Data Science experience a plus
Open to remote work, except cannot work in South Dakota, Vermont, and West Virginia. These candidates will be required to relocate. For employees based in Colorado, this position starts at $178,500 per year. Information about benefits can be foundhere.
