Product Development Assistant - CALVIN KLEIN
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting in product development lifecycle activities such tech pack BOM updates, sample tracking, and maintaining product related data across systems in accordance with seasonal calendar.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Tech pack accuracy including maintaining updates from sales sample stage through ‘ready for bulk’
- Responsible for system accuracy, including carry over of basic styles each season, and communicating completion to cross functional partners
- Data entry for vendor allocation in PLM during tech pack pass off
- Maintain development charts including graphics, style allocation, sample tracking
- Run seasonal Line Matrix/Centric audit report at Style/Color level
- System management for Factory/Vendor approvals (new factories, name changes, etc.)
- Create and manage vendor information sheets
- Sample management including ordering and tracking of SMS, samples for e-com teams, and Customs Compliance
- Understand seasonal strategies and align day to day priorities accordingly
- Monitor calendar and engage with cross functional teams to ensure all key dates are met

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:1-3 years of related experience in sourcing, product development and/or production
Education:Bachelor’s Degree is required; a textile/PD or manufacturing-related background is preferred
Skills:
- Computer skills – Full MS Office Suite, emphasis on MS Excel
- Comfort working in multiple computer systems
- Top-notch follow up skills are essential.
- Proactive personality is needed.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills
