WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As our Product Line Manager – Women’s Sport Lifestyle Classics Apparel, this individual will be responsible for the product creation for the Fleece business. This is a high visibility role with both strategic and creative facets of the work, leading one of our key classifications, Fleece. We are looking for someone that has strong product experience & business insight and leads with a strategic demeanor to continue building the future of Fleece for women’s lifestyle. Strong influencing and communication skills (verbal & written) to bring our future product vision to fruition. Someone who demonstrates passion for product, trend and innovation that will lead to crafting outstanding product.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing product strategies that can translate to an impactful product brief. This person will analyze consumer and competitive trends in the market and bring alluring, quality product to market that encourages and resonates with our Women’s Sport Lifestyle consumer. They will own strategy and the successful execution of the line plan architecture in partnership with Global Merchandising. They will also be responsible for crafting impactful presentations at the appropriate moments to advise and inspire their working team (triad) and downstream partners around our seasonal strategies and key stories!
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This individual will lead product strategy, consumer work and product creation processes for the overall Fleece product line in collaboration with the Product Director. They will spend time with consumers, the design triad (apparel, color and technical design) and global merchandising partners to conduct analyses of the current business and assortment opportunities. They will also lead the design and development teams to hit key deliverables each season, including all key meetings and creation deadlines. They will co-own the successful creation and execution of the line plan architecture in partnership with Global Merchandising.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years experience in a product-related role or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
- Creativity and passion for Women’s product, fashion, color and style
- Understanding of the Fleece business and market (aesthetic, muses, preferences, relevant brands, interests & behaviors)
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Business insight & strong analytical abilities
- General understanding of apparel product construction and sourcing process
- Able to lead and influence a team and enable collaborative working relationships
- Attention to detail and deadlines
- Solutions-oriented, open to raising a hand and proposing new product and process ideas
- Experience monitoring and understanding trends, and applying that understanding to product brief.
- Necessary Skills/Tools: Visual Tool Creation (Powerpoint/Keynote/Miro), Excel Skills, Retail Math, Smartsheets
