The Production Planner II needs to be curious, have a tolerance for ambiguity and possess the ability to work both collaboratively & independently, while combining that with a solid understanding of planning standard processes and the ability to use data analysis to drive decision making. Continuous improvement and adaptability are required to be successful and respond to the changing requirements of our consumers and business.


If this is you, you will work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Operations and Logistics, Finance, External Sales, Factory Partners, and Purchasing. You will analyze demand signals and inventory strategies to generate a detailed schedule that optimizes manufacturing efficiency while ensuring customer service goals are met.

-  Analyze, conduct, and/or prepare plans that drive business operations to achieve specific production objectives

-  Ensure alignment among operational objectives, inventory strategies, and manufacturing plans

-  Interpret customer demand, assess requirements, and determine solutions to flex capacity

-  Identify and make recommendations on mitigation actions needed to address gaps between consumer demand and Air MI capacity

-  Generate forecasts and purchase key raw materials to support production plans

-  Be adaptable to implement existing procedures to tackle problems while also bringing a new point of view to deliver results

-  Maintain high-level integrity, remain flexible and results-oriented while working efficiently in a matrixed organization

-  Ensure ongoing communication and engagement with partners and be available as a resource for colleagues

-  Lead or participate in cross functional teams and/or projects as needed

-  Work independently and take initiative to identify, explore and solve problems

-  Understand Air MI’s flexibility to support demand from different sites.

-  Adopt change


You will be a key member of the Global Air MI Planning team reporting to the Manufacturing Planning Manager. You will support and build positive relationships with Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Operations and Logistics, Finance, External Sales, Factory Partners, and Purchasing.


-  Bachelor's degree or higher or combination of relevant education, experience, and training

-  Strong Excel ability, including setting up automated spreadsheets & building complex formulas

-  Strong ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing

-  Desire to work in teams to achieve a common goal

-  Ability to prioritize & manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment

-  Previous advance planning system experience is preferred

-  Previous tooling planning experience is preferred

-  ASCM CPIM or similar planning certification a plus.

-  Experience with Tableau a plus.
