ZIMMERMANN is excited to share that we are looking for a meticulous Retail Buyers Assistant to support the growth of our Buying team at our Head Office in Sydney.

About the role:

Reporting to our Retail Buying Director and working closely with our Retail Buyers, this role will be responsible for facilitating administrative tasks across our seasonal collections, including Ready-to-Wear, Swim and Resort, and Footwear and accessories globally. In this role, you will develop a collaborative partnership with cross-functioning teams as well as with our Global Retail network.

As the Retail Buyers Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

Performing retail sales analysis and reporting on a weekly and seasonal basis as well as maintaining global best-seller reports.
Supporting our Buying & Planning team with seasonal Range Review preparation and reporting.
Collating Product feedback from our Global Retail Store network weekly.
Collaborating with our Production and logistics teams to ensure best practices for timely deliveries across all markets.
Assisting with Market analysis regularly through providing feedback on product and pricing strategies.
Supporting general administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records and reports.

What you will bring to the role:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail experience.
At least one year of experience in an administrative position.
Strong eye for luxury products and commercial awareness.
Willingness to learn.
Proficient in Excel with demonstrated ability to create Excel-based reports and templates.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills,
Demonstrated organisational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask.
Flexible and able to change priorities and direction quickly and effectively.
