Job Description:Reporting to the Merchandising Senior Manager the Merchandising Manager is responsible for collaborating to develop the merchandise strategy for the Garments category, to maximize the sales and ensure that KPI’s are met.
Duties include but not limited to:
Range Management
Planning, building, and presenting the bi-annual range plans for the Division
Collaborate to phase sales, stock, intake and markdown based on historical analysis
Communication with the Visual Merchandising team and the Japanese Head Office
Set the critical path for the team to follow, making sure deadlines are met and coordinate with other departments
Stock & Sales Management
Allocation plans to meet the stores’ needs
Make guidelines and priorities for sales, stock markdown and intake
Help in setting stock store targets for the Associate Merchandisers to follow
Review department reports on a monthly basis
Aid in seasonal launches in line with sales plan
Manage stock availability on garment products
Manage opportunities and resolve issues that are costing sales and cash margin
Foster strong relationships with other departments to ensure merchandising goals are met
Team Management
Daily management and development of the Merchandising Department Associates
