We are looking for a Senior Buyer to support a fun and supportive manufacturing organization in Union. MO. This position is onsite and provides great benefits: health insurance, 401K match, holiday pays and Paid Time Offs.

SUMMARY

Our Sr. Buyer ensures attainment of company sales objectives and inventory budgets through purchasing, managing to inventory targets, forecast planning, domestic and international logistics order management. The Sr. Buyer is responsible for improving out of stock position, inventory turn, and GM $ on assigned categories. Additionally, our Sr Buyer develops and mentors buyers, associate buyers, or assistant buyers for maximization of performance in their categories.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 years of experience in a Buyer role for a manufacturing environment, Bachelor’s degree preferred
Advanced experience with regular usage of data analysis tools such as Excel
A minimum of 3 years ERP/MRP experience required.

o Freight as a percentage of spend
