Job description

- Oversee implementation of the pre-season strategy for eCom OTB planning & management following market financial targets and global guidelines

- Lead buying process for assigned categories, ensuring volumes are bought to meet market OTB plans, following channel ranges provided by Market CTC Assortment Planning teams

- Oversee the size breakdown process, ensuring alignment to market needs

- Manage market seasonal stock position ensuring the right volumes are available for the eCom channel to deliver financial targets and maximize opportunities in-season

- Contribute to submission of initial forecasts into system (RMA) for horizontal reviews by local CTC at key milestones

- Leverage a data-driven approach to influence assortment range decisions through input and relationship management with Market CTC Assortment Planning teams, ensuring business needs are met

- Lead market in-season trading, assuring timely sales forecasts by product category, overseeing inventory levels and in-season markdowns

- Recap business weekly/monthly/seasonally and react to business needs and opportunities in a timely manner

- Partner with global/local colleagues to define and implement eCom buying best practices and KPI tracking mechanisms focused on optimization of the eCom consumer experience through product and ranging decisions

- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the competitive market landscape and create strategies to help the brand win

- Ability to motivate and lead a 4+ person team, creating a framework for development and building talent up within the organization

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

Drive pre-season and in-season buying strategy for the brand's owned eCommerce channel (eCom) to ensure achievement of market KPI's while aligning to Global guidelines.

Profile

- Relevant experience in a buying function for a multichannel direct-to-consumer (own retail, franchise, and eCom) global brand, eCommerce experience a plus

- Deep knowledge of buying processes and systems and broad knowledge of other functional areas involved in the go-to-market process

- Natural collaborator with strong communication skills and the ability to lead and influence up, down and across an organization

- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive end-to-end strategies and initiatives in partnership with multiple functions

- Fluent in English

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

- University Degree

- 8+ years of work experience

- 2+ years Management experience
