Drive strategy & assortment merchandising for global HBG division. This role will be responsible for owning seasonal line plans, strategically analyzing the business to ensure continued category growth & consistently keeping their pulse on the competitive HBG landscape. This person will need to have an entrepreneurial spirit with strong cross-functional communication & relationship building skills as they will be responsible for working with buying, planning, production, design and marketing seamlessly. In addition to attention to detail and business acumen this person will need a passion for product and an eye for brand-right trend.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze category performance on a weekly/monthly/annual basis to recommend assortment opportunities

Own Seasonal Strategy driving Lineplan creation informed by category performance & competitive research 4x a year

Drive assortment creation & maintenance from inception to launch

· Maintain global line sheets in partnership with Associate/Assistant; publish accurately and timely tools necessary for market

· Partner with cross-functional Design/PD/Production teams to build strong, margin rich collections

Act as liaison to marketing partnering to identify key seasonal messages and feature opportunities

Drive Markdown & inventory strategy in partnership with planning

· Build a relationship with other internal merchandising teams to create synergy across the Tory Burch collection each season

· Gain a strong understanding of the Tory Burch customer; visit stores monthly focusing on associate & customer feedback and communicate learnings back to the team

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

· Minimum 7-9 years in a merchandising role; handbag/SLG experience is a plus

· Strong analytic skills and attention to detail

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Extensive experience in Microsoft Suite including, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word

· Strong knowledge of retail math and Excel formulas
