WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Core Commerce team. This position will be at the heart of the Nike Direct digital business and will help the global and individual Nike Direct teams make decisions that will drive organic growth in Nike traffic and member acquisition, engagement, and monetization. This role requires a high-energy, self-motivated individual with strong technical and analytical abilities, high detail-orientation and excellent written and verbal communication. We are seeking an individual with experience in growth marketing or growth focused product management. The right candidate will be on top of digital retail and marketing trends and understand the opportunities that Nike Direct can drive for the Nike brand.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The Senior Product Manager, Organic Growth Content will work with cross-functional teams passionate about developing content and experiences that serve athlete needs and interests. You will drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new Nike Direct content experiences centered around clear objectives and outcomes. You will find opportunities to accelerate user acquisition, grow engagement, and increase purchase frequency and value. You will provide subject matter expertise to global and geo business units, and collaborate with content creators and digital experience teams to identify and implement strategies against key growth opportunities.

WHAT YOU BRING

The successful candidate will have experience crafting premium content experiences and understand how to best use digital marketing channels to drive organic growth. You will have deep knowledge in the fundamentals of search engine optimization and scalable strategies that drive long-term growth, including content marketing, and audience development. You will have a passion for brand right data driven decisions and consumer experience. You will be a service oriented leader who wants to teach others how to develop growth models as much as you like digging and implementing them yourself.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-7+ years of product management experience, preferably in growth roles where content is the primary business model
  • Demonstrable expertise in acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention strategies for informational and editorial content
  • Understanding of search engine marketing, search engine optimization, social media, content syndication, app download strategies, and digital advertising
  • Experience working in a global business environment that requires accounting for different digital ecosystems, consumer expectations, and regulations in different regions and countries
  • Demonstrated success working with various cross-functional, internal, and external groups to deliver meaningful results with limited direction
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to showcase decisions based on data
  • Consistent track record of contributions to business outcomes
  • Outstanding communication skills to deliver information to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong technical writing skills to communicate product requirements to engineering, architecture, and design teammates
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Tableau, JIRA, and Confluence is preferred
