Position Meets In-Person in Lebanon, OH (Not Remote or Hybrid)

Rose and Remington is a space where individuals can fall in love with affordable clothing, accessories, gifts and much more. In addition, Curve and Cloth and Burlap and Birch make up our family of sister stores providing trendy plus size fashion and unique furniture and home decor. We are looking for an experienced Senior Retail Buyer to keep up with the ever changing fashion trends and growth of the Rose and Remington family of stores. Working alongside the buying team, the Senior Buyer will communicate with Area Managers, the Merchandising Team, and Store Managers to understand the inventory needs of each individual store while paying close attention to specific target markets and demographics. The Senior Buyer will oversee and maintain inventory while developing and maintaining relationships with vendors.

Responsibilities Include:

Determine which goods to purchase, in what quantities, and for which locations
Maintain store inventories and forecast customer demand
Negotiate with vendors
Analyze market trends to understand current and future fashion trends
Select and buy inventory for approximately 40 retail stores
Buy inventory to open new stores
Seek out new suppliers and build and maintain relationships
Analyze inventory data to determine strong and week sellers
Calculate profits and spending
45 hour workweek
Monday- Friday 8-5:30

Qualifications:

Required 3+ years of relevant experience in a buyer position and/or a degree in a related field
Strong sense of current and emerging trends on various social media platforms
Strong computer and social media skills
Strong communication skills
Strong decision making skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
Mathematic skills for calculating spending
