About This Role

As the Senior Visual Merchandiser at Goorin Bros, you’ll play a pivotal role in the success of our Elevated Retail Experience. The focus of the role is to create smart and curated assortments by shop, that supports an aspirational brand experience. This includes product storytelling, influencing product creation, and ultimately driving customer satisfaction and long-term brand loyalty.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and customer-focused, turning field data into insights that drive business value and identifying trends and opportunities that translate into growth-oriented business decisions. This role will be a fundamental touchpoint for our Retail Field team, by working directly with store management to obtain real-time field feedback and develop the visual merchandising brand strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the visual execution of storytelling in stores.

• Establish visual guidelines and create directives to be communicated to and executed by Retail Stores to maximize sales and sell-through.

• Analyze store sales data on a weekly basis to identify top sellers and liabilities for each store and overall retail channel, including the tracking of sell-through rates.

• Provide coaching to our retail teams to uphold and be compliant with all Merchandising Standards to enhance the customer experience

• Work with e-commerce and marketing teams, providing insights that drive campaigns, promotional activities, and key volume category investments

• Assist in defining and managing Retail Field inventory levels, providing field insight on seasonal and core buys and product levels to impact future buys and reorders.

• Assist in identifying and facilitating the movement of liability products to the necessary locations

• Partner with Product Team to create pre-season item-level sales plans that align with product rankings, merchandising strategies, and tops-down financial goals.

• Partner with Production and Inventory to ensure timely and accurate execution of product arrivals in stores.

• Work closely with Retail, Digital, and Marketing teams to ensure in-store and online strategies are linear, by VM storytelling and implementation of Brand Collateral

• Work with Branding to concept and create appropriate Field Brand Collateral

Skills and Requirements

· Minimum 5 years of experience working in a Retail Merchandising or related field

· Experience working within fashion, ideally for a luxury, advanced contemporary brand

· Analytical skills and data-driven mindset

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office environment, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

· Ability to travel to site locations as needed to support ongoing and upcoming projects.

· Ability to be independent, self-motivated, and self-directed

· Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
