Reporting to the Senior Director of Visual Merchandising, the Senior Visual Merchandiser will ensure that the image and aesthetics of the brand(s) are effectively and strongly communicated in each individual retail space, including bi-monthly in store floor sets, window styling and special projects. This person must interpret brand directives, tailoring them to the specific needs and realities of the US market, always with the final goal of maximizing sales. They will bring creative ideas to the role and will enhance existing product setups and ways of working.


  • Visual Merchandiser for the MaxMara USA, Inc. brands are responsible for the overall visual image of each store in which this person works/visits.
  • The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for all floor moves, window changes, maintenance of the visuals and product in the store and insuring the store is up to Max Mara’s visual standards following brand guidelines including seasonal floor sets, and product styling and presentation.
  • Able to plan and execute store window and floor set presentations, working with or without a team.
  • Research creative ideas and solutions to enhance existing product setups
  • Keep good communication with the stores and supervise the display and adjustment of display.
  • Provide visual merchandising support to company activities such as new store opening and events.
  • Visit stores regularly to make sure that all store visual merchandising align with the requirements of the company and brand image.
  • Other daily works directed by the Visual Office


  • College degree preferred
  • At least three years working experience of brand visual merchandising in fashion or retail industry.Luxury industry experience is required.
  • Proficient in computer graphic design software Excel PowerPoint Word.
  • Self-motivated, able to work under high pressure.
  • Creative and have the ability of organization and skills of display.
  • Excellent capability of communicating- expressing, reading and writing.
  • Have a good aesthetic sense and strong ability to learn about fashion.
  • Accept work shift travel requirements and irregular work schedule. Able to travel, as needed, both internationally and domestically. Visual Merchandisers travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Able to work in a team, cooperating with others.
