Marquee Brands, a global brand leader, is looking for an Associate Buyer to join the Merchandising group within BCBG, which encompasses BCBGMAXAZRIA, BCBGeneration and BCBG Girls.

We're seeking an Associate Buyer help bring our merchandising plan and vision to life. We are looking for a candidate who is proactive, self-directed and believes the beauty is in the details.


Founded in 1989, BCBGMAXAZRIA was named for the popular French expression "Bon chic, bon genre," the idea that a good attitude is the basis of good style. Shortly after, the brand moved to Los Angeles, where it redefined the designer market by offering European standards of quality and luxury at contemporary price points.

Here Is What You'll Do Here

The Site Merchandiser is an important part of the BCBG Group Ecommerce team. This role reports directly to the Director of Site Merchandising and plays a key role in driving growth, conversion and engagement for They are responsible for the full product upload, launch and QA process. This role will also manage site promotions and collection page merchandising. The Site Merchandiser works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all initiatives run smoothly. Candidate should have at least 2 years of experience managing products and promotions and be familiar with search merchandising.

Job Functions

  • Create Shopify product uploads using information gathered from buying, planning and creative. Manage entire product launch process, including creating product uploads with Matrixify, editing products in Shopify, as needed, partnering with DC and CF teams to ensure flow of inventory, and launching products to the site.
  • Schedule tagging, taxonomy, pricing, and other product attribute updates with uploads. QA import results, including on-site filters, and ensure accuracy.
  • Set up all site promotions, schedule, and QA. The Site Merchandiser will verify links, product badging and persistent notes, category creation and promo codes.
  • Manage discount codes across all teams, including bulk promo code creation. Troubleshoot and confirm promo codes with teams, as needed.
  • Execute markdowns, provided by the planning team, using product uploads. Ensure all product tagging is updated and QA sale immediately after launch to ensure accuracy.
  • Create collection pages and add to the navigation. Manage and update all collection page content weekly based on product performance, campaign calendar and seasonal product launches. Tell product and trend stories with collection page merchandising.
  • Execute updates to search merchandising, in partnership with the Director of Site Merchandising, promoting key products, reducing inventory liability, and enhancing the customer search experience.
  • Partner with creative and marketing teams to work through editorial content and emails to ensure that product and site experience is in alignment with marketing messages. Provide team with suggested CTAs/URLs. QA finalized creative for accuracy and merchandise collection pages to align, scheduling future updates, as needed.
  • Update all department reporting weekly. Utilize reporting to best drive site updates, optimizing search and merchandising strategies.
  • Manage and post reviews. Partner with vendors to resolve customer questions and submit all customer feedback to customer service team.
  • Help to track and QA site enhancements and/or bugs, escalating all issues to the proper team to resolve.
  • QA the site on a daily basis and make sure all deadlines are being met, including timely product and promotion launches.
  • Execute competitive research to bring industry best practices and new ideas to the team.

Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced, Ecommerce fashion environment
  • Excel experience is required, including working knowledge of vlookup and other advanced formulas. The Site Merchandiser must be very comfortable working daily in Excel.
  • Experience with Shopify Plus is required (at least 1.5 years with direct product, navigation and promotion management); experience with search merchandising tools, Yotpo, GA, Asana, KPI reporting is a plus
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail and focused on process
  • Able to work with autonomy and effectively manage time in a remote environment
  • Strong understanding and passion for women's fashion. Previous experience in women's' fashion is preferred
  • POV on and understanding of websites, user experience, and visual site merchandising
  • Due to the nature of ecommerce promotions and launches, this role will be required to work some nights and weekends.
