The Opportunity:

GLD is looking for an exceptional Site Merchandiser, a person who possesses an analytical and customer centric mindset. You have an eye for detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, great writing skills and experience improving UX and optimizing all merchandise related aspects of web performance. You will work hand in hand with the Head of Women’s and Co-Founder of GLD to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers/prospects maintaining the product offering on Shopify.

The Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage, own, and optimize all aspects of Shopify platform (customers, tags, products, checkout flow, flows, apps, etc.)
  • Consistently monitor the website’s KPI’s and product performance. Proactively recommend and implement front-end changes that improve the following: new product updates, add to cart rate, conversion rate, AOV, cross sells, upsells, bounce rate, CX onsite, and more
  • Work closely with the product development and merchant team ensure the website is represented accurately for new product launch dates, product changes, etc.
  • Create and manage the execution of the site merchandising calendar (restocks and new drops) with a monthly / quarterly framework to ensure alignment on campaigns
  • Align with your team on marketing campaigns and initiatives updating the site as needed for promotions and sales, making sure discount codes are scheduled and functioning properly, be the point of contact for troubleshooting onsite issues, etc
  • Work closely with Customer Service to consistently optimize the customer’s onsite experience
  • Regularly conduct website audits to make sure all information is up to date and that website functionality is working as expected
  • Own product metadata such as product tags, attribution, filters, thumbnails, product descriptions, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and repair any on-site bugs or issues
  • Maintain communication tools to effectively and accurately flow information to cross- functional teams, such as product delivery flows, new style/SKU information for system set-up, etc.

The Qualifications:

  • A passion and curiosity for product and our customers and their unique relationship and definition of streetwear culture
  • 1+ years of Shopify experience
  • Highly self-motivated and flexible with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • A “no task is too small or too large” type-of-attitude”
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Website merchandising / Shopify experience preferred
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive as part of a team or individually
