Senior Designer – Men’s Activewear

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Design for branded activewear/athleisure collections

• Produce flat sketches, line sheets and visually pleasing CADs

• Create tech packs with construction details including fabrications, trims, print and color

• Review/approve fabric qualities, lab dips, artwork, trims

• Communicate with factories to request and track samples

• Perform market/trend research, create trend and market comp reports as needed

• Attend fit sessions and communicate design changes to the maker

• Develop new artwork and graphics with freelancers/print studios

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5+ years experience in design, with men’s activewear experience required

• Proficient in creating quick, accurate flat sketches

• Must be organized, self-motivated with attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Excellent communication & follow up skills

• Good eye for color & strong color matching ability

• Adobe CC - Illustrator & Photoshop

• Understanding of garment construction & performance fabrics

• Positive, can-do attitude

• Experience with 3D/Browzwear helpful

• Prints & graphics ability helpful
