General Summary:

To serve a leadership role in eCommerce planning, responsible for translating company strategy and direction into financial goals and business plans that drive revenue and margin. Utilize data to influence and drive decisions, implement continuous process improvement, and collaborate across multiple teams in the organization. This is a high-impact role offering an opportunity to drive both immediate and long-term business decisions and influence leadership in both the eCommerce and merchandise organizations. This role will partner closely with Merchandising, Inventory Planning, Finance, Analytics, and Digital Operations. The role requires someone who will be comfortable with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, and be motivated by a fast-paced environment. You will work with smart, passionate, and highly motivated individuals, and be part of a fun, hard-working team.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop merchandise sales and margin annual budgets and monthly forecasts for a business unit incorporating current and historical trends, KPI’s, and competitive insights; consistently update forecasts via weekly, monthly, quarterly and scenario specific re-forecasting
  • Monitor weekly KPIs to hold stakeholders accountable for the delivery of strategic targets and objectives
  • Support eCommerce strategy in conjunction with the Digital Leadership Team by quantifying new initiatives and providing impacts to merchandise sales and margin plans
  • Conduct monthly forecast reviews that provide key insights elevating risks and opportunities; consistently refine forecasting procedures to optimize process efficiencies and increase accuracy
  • Analyze channel promotions to appropriately plan sales, margin, and inventory needs Implement and manage eCommerce OTB; maintain eCommerce vendor/SKU sales plans, receipts, and SKU level buys
  • Help manage total company inventory through receipt optimization and sell-through action plans
  • Create and support ongoing reporting, ad hoc analysis and projects based on current business needs to inform decision making
  • Partner to drive month-end and quarterly merchandise insights Identify opportunities to automate and enhance existing tools, reporting, analysis processes, and operating rhythms

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance required 5+ years of experience in a Retail Planning role with eCom planning experience
  • Possesses thorough understanding of Retail Financial measurements and KPIs Expert analytical and problem-solving skills; meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to seamlessly present business strategies and action plans to broad audience of varied levels.
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities; able to multi-task and to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Places heavy focus on building strong working relationships with cross functional partners, has a history of influencing partners to gain engagement and alignment on business strategies and prioritization
  • An affinity to "speak with numbers"; inherent aptitude to quantify and support conclusions with data, ability to synthesize large amounts of data into action plans, and translate strategy into tactical, well-developed financial plans Experience with developing forecasting tools and enhancing reporting capabilities
  • Holistic thinker, ability to establish and drive end-to-end strategies and initiatives encompassing multiple functions Inspire engagement to manage the Business end to end (processes, budgets, projects, etc.)
  • Expert Microsoft Excel skills Proficient with major Retail Planning Systems a plus
  • Knowledge in/of SQL, Cognos, Essbase, TM1, Oracle, MicroStrategy, Snowflake and/or other data manipulation tools a plus
