The Senior Merchandiser develops the seasonal merchandise strategy to drive business growth against the financial plan, guiding their direct team and the cross functional team to create fast, easy and meaningful shopping experiences for our consumer. Responsibilities include crafting product stories and investment strategies, analyzing sales and data, identifying and prioritizing business opportunities, influencing the cross functional team, monitoring the market, partnering with the cross functional team to create clear, impactful stories and user experiences and supervising a direct report(s). As a product owner, responsibilities also include ensuring product is set-up, photographed and merchandised throughout the site to drive conversion and facilitate product browsing.

  • Drive seasonal merchandise strategies to create compelling omni-channel experiences and maximize revenue and conversion.
  • Lead and influence the cross functional team to align, support and prioritize strategies across total D2C
  • Merchandise site, create relevant categories, manage facets and search term results to facilitate consumer browsing and shopping behavior and conversion
  • Analyze selling reports and website data to understand category performance and consumer behavior to make business recommendations and changes on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Participate in the development of an annual and seasonal financial revenue plan and monthly forecast by category to maximize product profitability and drive KPIs
  • Identify and execute site, category, or product detail page optimization opportunities by utilizing customer feedback and analytics
  • Partner with marketing, integrated media and user experience counterparts to ensure storytelling needs are covered daily, weekly, monthly and seasonally
  • Communicate business results and seasonal strategies to key cross functional counterparts and leadership
  • Partner closely with the global product team to understand and influence product assortment options
  • Monitor the marketplace for trends and new ideas related to on the online and omni-channel shopping experiences
  • Manage the product set-up from start to finish for seasonal launches by coordinating site catalog loads, on-model photoshoots, fit guidance and copy hand-offs
  • Manage partnerships with third party vendors to deliver compelling product and stories that support the eCommerce strategy and improve the customer experience
  • Seek new opportunities to grow the business and further personal & professional development


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required in Merchandising or Related Field

Required Skills And Experience

  • 7 years of retail experience or industry related experience
  • 2 years of leadership or project management
  • 2 or more years of eCommerce experience
  • Apparel, retail or consumer products experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, online merchandising tools
  • Ability and desire to work at both the tactical/operational and strategic levels
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills and mindset with intuitive grasp on retail math
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong understanding and passion for product, merchandising, store and website experiences
  • Team player with exceptional collaboration, communication and leadership skills
  • General product knowledge of apparel a plus

  • Light Lifting (10-15 lbs.)
  • Willing to work some weekends if necessary
  • Travel (10%)
  • Hybrid location: Associate will work on-site regularly as needed for work activities.
