Fabletics is currently looking for a
Sr. Print Designer (Apparel).How Do You Fit In?
Under the direction of the Design Directors and VP of Design, the Sr. Print Designer is responsible for the creation, execution and management of print development. Your aesthetic should translate into designs that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, and easy to understand. You'll be able to clearly communicate creative ideas to both supervisors and stakeholders, collaborate on ideation with fellow designers, and work with the product development team to deliver solutions that are timely and effective.
This position will report to the Design Director - Color, Print and Sportswear
What You Will Do:
- Research inspiration, print and print techniques. Compile seasonal mood boards based on design concepts and print stories.
- Design unique and original artworks. Need to be able to create print repeats.
- Lead and mentor Assistant Print Designer.
- Collaborate with Designers on the creation of seamless / warpknit engineered patterns. Be able to work on body artwork.
- Stay abreast of trends, new techniques and resources in Print exploring an eclectic variety of textures, animals, flowers, dyes effects, camouflage, etc.
- Create layouts for artwork and communicate with the vendors effective on technique, layout, color approval and timeline.
- Be flexible to work both digital and manual on the creation of the artwork.
- Create tech packs for all new artworks and prints development.
- Communicate regularly with design & product development teams to help problem solve where necessary.
- Acts as a technical resource for the Design teams in terms of production of prints.
- Follow up and coordinate all ongoing projects in order to meet stated deadlines and track artwork throughout the entire design process.
- Take ownership of projects from concept through production.
- Take initiative to streamline and innovate processes to help make workflow more efficient.
- Be an inspiring, energy giving member of the team. Be positive. Be proactive.
- 8+ years of apparel print design experience.
- Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, and Photoshop. Knowledge of Kaledo or similar print programs is a plus.
- Must have a strong eye for color and can recolor bought prints, as well as self-created prints artworks in a timely manner.
- Incredibly creative and innovative with strong knowledge of print and graphic techniques. Can create vector-based and hand drawn prints and put into repeat.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- A team player, you contribute positively to team dynamic, cultivate passion and productivity. You are solutions driven and an efficiency advocate as well as having an all-hands-on deck mentality.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- BFA/ BA in Print design.
- Previous experience in a Activewear Brand is a Plus
- This role will be based in our El Segundo Headquarters

The annual base salary range for this position is from $66,690 - $121,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate's related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
