Levi’sPersonalization Platform Teamis looking for a Sr. Product Manager of Personalization Platform who will be responsible for the portfolio ofnext-generation AI based systems, services and APIs that enable personalized experiences across the organization.You will partner with engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers to delivergroundbreaking AI solutions that enable delightful, personalized experiences.across our many applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own, develop, and execute a technology roadmap to redefine our personalization, product discovery, and recommendations systems.

  • Partner with other product managers and different areas of the business to understand customer needs, identify strategic opportunities and find common problems across the enterprise.

  • Create an environment that enables the Data Science and Data Engineering teams to rapidly iterate and experiment while also delivering required scale, performance, reliability, fault tolerance, security and privacy

  • Define and launch core recommendation systems and product discovery AI capabilities that can be deployed across multiple channels and countries

  • Identify opportunities within currently manual processes and the path towards automation

  • Collaborate closely with business partners and leadership to deliver and execute the best set of features that help the user and drives business goals

  • Manage a cross-functional process for prioritizing, delivering and launching major product releases

  • Understand consumer pain points and desires

  • Understand technical complexity of features being put onto the backlog and partner with the engineering and data science teams to make the right technical trade-offs

  • Balance quick wins vs. platform investments appropriately.

  • Navigate through ambiguity using consumer data, internal data, external benchmarks, and business objectives as guides

  • Balance the use and integration of third-party solutions for quick delivery of goals

  • Identify the controllable input metrics for your product area to measure and monitor success

  • Create processes, identify resource gaps and bottlenecks, and work cross-functionally to increase throughput and minimize operational expenses

  • Coach and develop other team members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, engineering, computer science, economics, or other quantitative field

  • 4+ years experience working as a product manager on recommendation systems or similar data-driven products, preferable for an eCommerce company

  • Strong data and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate through various data sources independently, andto also synthesize the relevant insights from data to drive new capabilities

  • An owner’s mindset
