Job Description

We are looking for a creative, driven, highly organized designer with a point of view and ability to problem solve with agility. A team player who can embody our aesthetic vision, brings a high level of taste, and shares our passion for great design.

Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of related experience and the technical expertise to drive projects through to opening. Must have a thorough understanding of the design process from conceptualizing, sourcing, budgeting, scheduling, and purchasing to overseeing installation. Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross functionally is required. Organization and ability to multitask is a must.

The position requires developing strong relationships with various departments, taking full ownership of assigned areas, and driving efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the design and manage all phases of the project.
  • Lead the furniture, fabric and furnishing selections.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and working plans.
  • Prepare design presentations and design development documents.
  • Review project documentation and provide quality control throughout.
  • Manage project teams, assign, and monitor completion of tasks.
  • maintain organized records of all assigned projects.
  • Key Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
    • Minimum 10 years of Design and project Management experience in retail, residential or hospitality projects. Expertise in retail is preferred.
    • High taste level and design competence.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Experience in building a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to work under pressure, multitask and work independently.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills, detail oriented with the ability to think creatively.
    • Ability to maximize productivity through time management while promoting teamwork and actively contributing to a positive work environment.
    • Proficient in Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Sketchup and MS Office.
