The Nike Store Channels and Growth team seeks a Business Planning Manager to help build and support cross-functional consumer-led strategy, initiatives and priorities. Our ambition is to transform Nike into the leading vertical global retailer.

This role in partnership with the Director of Business Stores Planning will sharpen the overall Nike Stores team mission, vision, and purpose. This role will drive the process of building and executing cross-functional strategies and initiatives to drive growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytics and organizational skills, experience and / or interest in retail, project management capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively as well as build and present presentations that help align cross-functionally and push our strategy forward.


If this is you, you will be working with the Nike Store Channels and Growth team and the broader Nike Stores team to create the future of retail for Nike. We need a person excited to lead and build content for key business planning processes and operating models, such as quarterly business review (QBR) and key cross-functional meetings. You’ll lean into some of our most important business initiatives, offering thought partnership and supporting our Global retail strategy in service of our Geos.


You will partner closely with the cross-functional Nike Stores team and the Geography’s Store teams. You’ll work regularly across key functions necessary to activate our strategy, as well as members across the cross-functional Global Nike organization. You will also work with various Nike owned digital partners as we continue to expand our omni capabilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of corporate development, corporate strategy, strategy consulting, business development, investment banking, retail strategy, or other relevant cross-functional retail experience
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Demonstrated problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills with experience managing multiple simultaneous projects
  • Project/program management capabilities with strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and commitment to critical follow-up
  • Ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial models
  • Proven experience with presenting and influencing senior leadership, maximizing excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Meeting and team strategy facilitation
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and influence across a cross-functional, matrixed environment
  • Passion for consumer experience, inquisitive nature, and retail industry knowledge preferred
  • Ability to work across key functions to activate our strategy, as well as members across the cross functional Global Nike Stores organization
