The Strategic Portfolio Management-Planning team is the strategic enterprise management of end-to-end planning. Our scope ranges from industry best practices to process design to project & program management. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This role is key to the execution and change management required in the end-to-end planning transformation. We are looking for someone who has worked in retail, fashion and/or demand planning and has been part of transformational efforts. This individual has built strong relationships and displays excellent stakeholder management as a key success driver. Experience and knowledge of standard project management principles will be a critical value that this individual will drive. We’re seeking an individual whose potential is more than the sum of their experiences.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will be responsible for enabling enterprise planning by providing project and program management expertise on our most critical, cross-functional initiatives. The initiatives will range from the implementation of new systems across the globe to mapping and standardizing our global processes and operating models. This role will provide end-to-end project management support, from the development of a project plan (and all associated supporting schedules) to stakeholder and change management. This role will be a partner to functional leaders as they work to drive their initiatives and successfully reach their objectives. You will use your communication and influencing skills to keep the project on scope, on time and on budget. Additionally, you’ll report out to leadership, project partners, and the broader planning teams on the success of your projects and their status, helping to confirm the vision’s success and tie to broader transformational efforts.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Strategic Portfolio – Planning. You will partner with a broad range of Converse team members, from functional leadership across our end-to-end planning ecosystem to the teams that support them. This is inclusive of Global & Geography; Marketplace Planning, digital/stores/wholesale channel planning, Inventory Planning, Data & Analytics, technology, and more.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree or higher or combination of relevant education, experience and training.
  • 2+ years of experience in the fashion, retail and/or supply chain industry
  • 2 years of proven success in project management with large corporations.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate from executive leadership to employees.
  • Strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) skills, specifically in respect to visualization through PowerPoint.
  • A solid track record of delivering results (quality, time, budget, change adoption) on globally and regionally-based large-scale transformational projects.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional partner management and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Consistent attention to detail.
  • Experienced with formal project management methodologies and know how to adapt, improve, and implement that methodology in a standardized way.
