Supply Planning Assistant Manager
As a Supply Chain Planning Assistant Manager, you will be part of a team driving efficiencies throughout the entire logistics network; working with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve this. You will be responsible for leading the Supply Co-Ordinator and Trouble Shipment teams, focusing on producing a comprehensive and accurate view of all inbound deliveries for the distribution centre. You will be required to ensure the team is consistently aligned to the strategy of the department while working alongside the rest of the Supply Chain Planning team to find new, optimized ways of working.
You will work collaboratively with buying, merchandising, imports and external suppliers to ensure your team have all the required detail to provide clear visibility of the volume of inbound deliveries at the unit level, allowing the distribution centre to plan resource and warehouse capacity effectively.

You should be able to work flexible hours/days and demonstrate the ability to adapt to the changing demands of the role as well as ensure daily operational standards of the department are met.
You will be an integral part of defining the upcoming strategy for the Supply Planning department, leading a team of Team Leaders, Supply Planning Co-Ordinators and Administrators to achieve this while developing their skills and capabilities, and coaching them to attain their goals & objectives.
Leading the Supply Co-Ordinators, who will be responsible for booking in all inbound deliveries, you will be required to ensure POs are booking in according to agreed weekly volumes. You will work alongside buying/merchandising to ensure these POs are kept up to date meaning the distribution centre has accurate visibility of one, two and four-week inbound deliveries to plan resources and capacity accordingly.
